FAQ
Are there any restrictions on how I can use the images?
The aging results are yours for your personal use. However, you cannot use the AgeMe service to run a
business of selling aged images or for promoting a business or web site without our prior written consent.
How accurate are the results?
The results are based on research and data we have conducted on the aging characteristics of thousands
of faces. If the subject’s face ages in the same manner as those we have studied, the results should be a reasonable prediction of aging.
Can I try the program before I purchase tokens?
Yes. From the Home page click the link “See sample aging for free”. You can do as many agings as you wish using our sample pictures.
Why isn’t the Sun Exposure effect always available?
The Sun Exposure effect is not available for the African and East-Indian ethnic backgrounds. This is because our data suggests that there is no significant correlation between sun exposure and skin appearance in people of those backgrounds.
Can I save my face agings?
Yes. Once you have completed your aging you can chose to download the image to your computer. The files will be downloaded as a ZIP archive. In order to be able to view them, you will need to extract them using a ZIP program. If you do not have such a program you can get one at www.7-zip.org, www.winzip.com or others.
For how long will my agings be available?
Although we cannot guarantee a particular duration (as per our terms of use), we try to keep the results for at least a couple of months. It is recommended however that you save the results that you want to keep. This is easy to do (please see below).
I didn’t receive a confirmation email after signing up
Frequently, automatically generated email messages (such as the one sent after you sign up), end up in the spam or junk folders of your email application. Please make sure you check these folders, if you can’t find our email in your inbox.
What browsers do you recommend?
The AgeMe website has been tested using Firefox 13 (which we recommend), Internet Explorer 9.0, Chrome and Safari
